Job Profile/ Specifications:
  • Capable of carrying out accurate and timely finalisation of annual/ half-yearly/ quarterly unconsolidated and consolidated financial statements, ensuring strict compliance with IFRS requirements, Companies Act 2017 and other laws and regulations
  • Able to coordinate statutory audits/ reviews of PPL and its subsidiaries
  • Capable of recommending suggested course of actions for implementation/ application of IFRS on key accounting issues
  • Able to carry out general ledger control and maintenance of chart of accounts
  • Able to accurately & timely submit information/ agenda items (board notes) required by Board before signing of financial statements. Besides, able to handle queries raised by the Board of Directors.
  • Capable of identifying key improvement areas, including development of processes/ policies for smooth and accurate financial reporting.
  • Able to ensure accurate financial reporting & book-keeping of PPL’s foreign subsidiaries
  • Able to manage subsidiaries’ secretarial matters (coordination for Board meetings & related activities)
  • Possess hands-on experience with accounting software such as SAP and / or other ERP
  • Able to do analytics to provide insight into business performance
  • Possess excellent leadership qualities, interpersonal skills as well as communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to meet reporting deadlines without compromising on quality of output.
Required Qualification & Experience:

Qualified Chartered Accountant having a cumulative experience of at least 10 years. Candidates with relevant work experience in the oil & gas industry and financial reporting would be preferred. Women having required qualification and experience are encouraged to apply.
