Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation

Over the years, PPL has been supporting Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) for treatment of patients, expansion of facilities and provision of equipment.

Among these, PPL recently donated Rs. 10 million to SIUT in 2020 for purchase of a lithoclast machine for kidney stone surgeries. Earlier, a grant of Rs. 12.72 million was handed over to SIUT in 2017 for a 10-bed Dialysis Unit to one of its satellite centres at Mehrunnisa Hospital, Korangi, Karachi.

SIUT is one of the premier healthcare institutions in Pakistan, which extends free-of-cost treatment, including complex surgeries such as kidney transplants and cancer surgeries, to thousands of patients from all over Pakistan.
