KARACHI, September 2, 2015: Pakistan Petroleum Limited, operator of Hala Block with 65 percent working interest (WI) along with its joint venture partner Mari Petroleum Company Limited with 35 percent WI, announced another gas and condensate discovery at its exploration well Fazl X-1 located in District Matiari, Sindh.  This is the third discovery in the block.

KARACHI, June 11, 2015: MD and CEO Syed Wamiq Bokhari inaugurated the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and tuberculosis ward at the Department of Chest Medicine (DCM), Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC) sponsored by Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) at a ceremony held at JPMC.

KARACHI, March 18, 2015: Government of Pakistan appointed Syed Wamiq Bokhari as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pakistan Petroleum Limited with effect from March 16, 2015, in place of Secretary Petroleum Arshad Mirza, who held additional charge since July 8, 2014.

Karachi, November 10, 2014: In a pioneering case of industry-academia collaboration in the local oil and gas sector, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) together with NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi, launched a 12-month Extended Internship Programme (EIP) with an orientation ceremony held at the university campus on November 10.
