One of the largest reputable maternity hospitals in Pakistan, Lady Dufferin Hospital (LDH) was established in 1898.
Presently, the hospital has 300 beds with state-of-the-art facilities, including four operation theatres, prenatal and postnatal wards, neonatal intensive care unit, outpatient department, and 24-hour laboratory.
The hospital provides services for free or on subsidized rates for those who cannot afford.
PPL donated Rs. 10 million to LDH in 2019-20 for purchase of a laparoscopy machine and Rs. 9.02 million in 2018 for purchase of medical equipment and sterilizer.
