Commercial production from Sharf X-1 at Shahdadpur Gas Field commenced on August 9, 2016. Sharf X-1 was drilled in 2014 to test the hydrocarbon potential of Massive Sand of Lower Goru Formation. During testing, the well flowed up to 42 MMscfd gas and 210 bpd condensate.
The field is currently producing from four wells, Sharf X-1, Sharf-2, Sharf-3 and Nasr X-1.
The average daily production from the field during 2023-24 was ~109 MMscfd gas, ~906 bpd condensate and ~11 tpd LPG.
