Saquib Hanif is a seasoned professional with diverse experience of nearly 25 years in corporate communications and community development.

Hanif studied at Cornell University, USA and graduated with “Distinction in all Subjects”.

He joined Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) in February 2008 as Chief Public Relations Officer, following an eight-year tenure at the Herald, including two years as Editor, and a brief stint at International Union for Conservation of Nature, Pakistan where he headed the Education, Communications and Knowledge Management Department.

Over the last 13 years at PPL, Hanif gradually climbed the career ladder, expanding his professional ambit with new responsibilities initially as Senior Manager Administration and Corporate Communications in 2015 and more recently as General Manager Corporate Services.

In his current role, Hanif oversees five departments: Corporate Communications, Administration, Community Development, Security Affairs and Lands and Licences plus a regional corporate services office in Islamabad.

He has written extensively in national and international publications, hosted an 18-serial talk show on Dawn TV and taught at the Lyceum and Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture.
