Karachi: May 18, 2016: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) donated Rs. 3.24 million towards construction of the Centre of Excellence for Deaf (CED) being established by Pakistan Association of the Deaf (PAD) in Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi. MD & CEO PPL Syed Wamiq Bokhari presented the cheque to Co-president, PAD Irfan Mumtaz in the presence of officials from both organizations at PPL’s head office.

KARACHI, December 15, 2015: Pakistan Petroleum Limited the operator of Gambat South Block with 65 percent working interest (WI) along with its joint venture partners Government Holdings Private Limited and Asia Resources Oil Limited with 25 percent and 10 percent WI, respectively has announced another gas discovery at its exploration well Hatim X-1 located in District Matiari, Sindh.

First session of PPL-NED Internship concludes

Karachi, November 11, 2015: The first session of the one-year Extended Internship Programme organized by Pakistan Petroleum Limited and NED University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi (NED), under a pioneering academia-industry partnership, came to a close with certificate distribution for more than 60 internees at the Department of Petroleum Engineering, NED on November 10. The event was attended by senior officials from the E&P industry, faculty members and programme participants.

KARACHI, November 10, 2015: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) was declared the largest corporate giver by volume of donations for 2013 and 2014 at the Corporate Philanthropy Awards hosted by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy in Karachi on November 9. The company clinched the award for the 10^th and 11^th consecutive years in the same category.

Shareholders of the company approved financial statements together with the auditor’s report for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2015 besides payment of final cash dividend of 40 percent on ordinary share capital.
