PPL Scholarship Schemes 2018-2019 for Higher Professional Education: To promote education in areas around its operational fields, PPL announces special scholarship schemes for students of PPL producing districts in the country and presently enrolled in professional bachelor’s/ master’s level degree programmes at public sector universities across the country. 

PPL Scholarship Scheme 2018-19 under 4-year (Class 9-12) Education Plan For Students of Balochistan: In order to impart quality education to promising and underprivileged youth of Balochistan, Pakistan Petroleum Limited announces scholarships under 4-year educational plan for students of Dera Bugti and other districts of Balochistan who are presently enrolled in class 9 at any cadet/ military/ residential schools & colleges established by the government across the country.

KARACHI, September 7, 2018: Pakistan Petroleum Limited, operator of Karsal Block (3372-18) with 100 percent working interest, has made an oil discovery from its exploratory well Talagang X-1, located at District Chakwal, Punjab.

KARACHI, August 24, 2018: Pakistan Petroleum Limited, the operator of Gambat South Block (2568-18) with 65 percent working interest (WI), along with its joint venture partners Government Holdings (Private) Limited and Asia Resources Oil Limited, having 25 percent and 10 percent WI, respectively made a gas and condensate discovery from its exploration well Badeel X-1 located in District Sanghar, Sindh.

Karachi, August 13, 2018: Pakistan Petroleum Limited made a gas and condensate discovery at exploratory well Yasar X-1 from its wholly-operated Kotri Block (2468-12) located in District Sujjawal, Sindh.

PPL discovers gas in Hub X-1, Balochistan

Karachi, July 20, 2018:Pakistan Petroleum Limited, operator of Hub Block (2566-4), together with its joint venture partner Sindh Energy Holding Company Limited has discovered hydrocarbons from exploratory well Hub X-1, located in District Lasbela, Balochistan.

Karachi: May 11, 2018: The newly-formed Pakistan Petroleum Limited Football Club (PPL-FC) clinched bronze medal at the award ceremony of Pakistan Football Federation’s National Challenge Cup (PFF NCC) 2018 on May 10 at Karachi Port Trust Football Ground. Senior Vice President PFF & Chief, Sindh Football Association Syed Khadim Ali Shah was Chief Guest of the event along with MD & CEO PPL Syed Wamiq Bokhari as Guest of Honour. PPL-FC Captain Nazir Khan was declared the highest goal scorer of the tournament.
