Mohammad Arshad Siddiqui

General Manager Internal Audit

Mohammad Arshad Siddiqui joined Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) in 1984 as Assistant Accountant with the Planning and Audit team.

During his over 30 years of association with the company, Siddiqui has served on various key positions, including Chief Internal Auditor, Manager Internal Audit and Senior Manager Internal Audit and Head of Internal Audit, before his promotion as General Manager Internal Audit in 2015. He also remained involved in the development and implementation of PPL’s Management Information System.

A member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Institute of Corporate Secretaries of Pakistan (ICSP), Audit Executive Centre and the Institute of Internal Auditors, (IIA) USA, Siddiqui has served on various committees of ICAP, Branch Council of ICSP and Global Communications Advisory Committee of the IIA. Siddiqui also remained President of the IIA Pakistan and served on Editorial Advisory Board of IIA's magazine Internal Auditor.

He has attended various professional trainings, both home and abroad, including Advanced International Programme in Oil & Gas Financial Management at University of Texas, USA, Computer Audit Workshop for Accountants by Systems Security Limited, UK and Advanced Auditing by The Management School London.

Siddiqui takes keen interest in social and cultural activities. He is a Melvin Jones Fellow of Lions Club International Foundation and on boards of Pakistan American Cultural Centre, Academy of Islamic and Modern Sciences and Pakistan Eye Bank Society. He has also served on various committees of the Arts Council of Pakistan.
