Makori East Field

Discovery over Makori East structure of Tal block was made in May 2011. Initially, the discovery well Makori East-1 was temporarily connected to Makori Early Production Facility for extended well testing. Production from the well commenced in June 2012.

Appraisal well Makori East-2 was completed as gas/ condensate producer in June 2012. Three more wells were drilled on the structure with Makori East-6, the recently completed well, has been commissioned. Field Development Plan for Makori East was approved by Government of Pakistan in October 2013, leading to declaring its status as Development & Production Lease.

Current production from Makori East is about 72.78 MMscfd gas, 9,112.47 bpd oil/ condensate & 297.02 tonnes LPG* which is being processed at Makori Gas Processing Facility.
