Vocational Training Institute provides income generation skills to local men and women

Economic independence is the keystone for empowering women and expanding livelihood opportunities for marginalized families. PPL promotes entrepreneurship among women by building their capacities for livelihood generation. In this regard, the Company has supported the Women Welfare Centre (WWC), Sui for 09 year (2006 to 2015).

Currently Taleem Foundation (TF) is operating a purpose-built Vocational Training Institute (VTI) in the premises of TF at Sui.The facility has purpose-built classrooms for stitching, embroidery, painting and computer training, together with an auditorium and recreational area for children and VTI students. PPL has provided equipment and furnishing for the new premises together with operational costs, including staff salaries, stipends and teaching material.
