Industrial Unit, Mastala

PPL established Women Vocational Training Centre (WVTC), Mastala near Adhi Field in 2014-15 which enabled over 1,000 females, through skill development to generate income for their livelihood.  Behbud Association of Pakistan managed and operated the WVTC. PPL provided operation and management cost for 5 years. Project has become financially sustainable and transformed into an Industrial Unit in 2019-20.  The said Industrial Unit has started production of products as per market demand i.e. hand embroided dresses, leather bags and etc and created a mass of home based workers in the area. At WVTC training of dresses making, knitting, leather products, hand and embroidery is provided to local females.
