Computer Training Centre Cum Library

The first-ever Computer Training Centre and Library (CTCL) in Sui was constructed by the PPL Welfare Trust in 2005 with a covered area of 20,000 square feet and inaugurated in 2010 to provide access to latest information and communication technology for residents of Sui and surrounding areas. CTCL is operated by Kalsoft, an Information Technology (IT) company, which provides technical resource personnel to manage the computer center and conducts various computer-based and IT skill-enhancement courses.

Since inception total 991 computer literates have been trained at CTCL. Currently, 19th batch is in progress and 130 are the total number of registered students. Besides, the CTCL also maintains a library thus providing a valuable knowledge resource for a reading culture in Sui.

During December 2016, CTCL has also started an English language course “How to Speak English” to teach proper English to the residents of Sui, and to make them able to speak fluent English. A total number of 60 students were enrolled till date, out of which 39 students have passed out.  PPL has donated land, building, furniture, books and computers for the centre and is committed to financing annual operational costs.
