Dadhar Auditorium & Public Library

When PPL initiated its exploration activities in Dadhar, needs assessment were carried out for initiating community development projects that could meet local expectations as well as benefit communities on a long-term basis.

Building an auditorium and library was identified as the key to facilitate the district government and communities in organizing events such as seminars, workshops and trainings and promoting a reading culture in Dadhar.

Based on these findings, PPL funded the construction of an auditorium and public library with a covered area of 5,500 sq. ft on the land provided by District Government, Kachhi (Bolan). The company also provided necessary furniture, equipment, computers and books.

Due to its central location and seating capacity of approximately 200 people, the auditorium and library can be used for large gatherings, bringing together participants and facilitators from other districts such as Sibi, Jhal Magsi, Nasirabad and Jaffarabad. The auditorium and library is operated and managed by the district government.

PPL has also built a similar facility in Kamber, Kalat and Tando Allahyar.
