To eliminate leprosy, TB and blindness, PPL adopted Marie Adelaide Leprosy Centre’s (MALC) established Dr. Ruth Pfau Health Centre, Kandhkot (DRFHC) in 2005 and continuously providing financial support. DRFHC center free of cost consultation, treatment and medicine is provided to visiting patients suffering from these diseases.

Since 2005, DRFHC has provided free of cost treatment, physiotherapy, protective footwear and economic support to approximately 500 patients in OPD for leprosy control. Over 50,000 patients have been entertained for various TB related diseases that includes Pulmonary Tuberculosis, Sputum Positive Cases and Extra Pulmonary Cases. Whereas, approximately 100,000 patients under eye care program. Presently, DRFHC is the only source in Kandhkot, providing specific health care services free of cost to the poor patients. 

Recently, DRFHC has expended operation with the support of PPL and established a Mother & Child Healthcare (MCH) Centre wherein quality healthcare is provided to mothers and children. whereas, a state-of-the-art Ophthalmic Operation Theater has also been established.
