Healthcare and Social Welfare Association (HASWA), a nonprofit organization, operates an Artificial Limb Center, set up in 2008 in Karachi.
The centre provides free-of-cost services and has so far fitted more than 16000 prosthetic legs and callipers.
In order to support HASWA to continue their operations to benefit disadvantaged patients PPL donated Rs 5 million in 2019-20.
