EIA Report for seismic & drilling in Dhok Sultan Block

Environment Protection Agency (EPA), Punjab has admitted the application of seismic & drilling in Dhok Sultan Block (3371-15) to accord approval required under section 12 of Punjab Environmental Act, 2012.

The block is located in in Attock, Chakwal and Mianwali, covering a total area of approximately 700 square kilometers. 

The environment impact assessment (EIA) report for Dhok Sultan Block is attached with this announcement. All stakeholders and general public are invited to submit their comments for/ or against the grant of environmental approval.

The comments may be submitted to Director (EIA), EPA Punjab, National Hockey Stadium (Qaddafi Stadium), Ferozepur Road, Lahore within two weeks (until February 5, 2018). 

The Public Hearing will be conducted on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11am at Tulip, Marqee Attcok. All stakeholders and general public are invited to attend the hearing to share their proposals/suggestions.
