Benari Gas Field

Benari Gas Field consists of Benari X-1, the first exploratory well of Shah Bandar Block. The well was commissioned on May 3, 2021, adding around 8 MMscfd of sales gas to the supply network.

Benari's gas is being processed at Mari Petroleum Company Limited's Sujawal Gas Processing Facility (SGPF) in the vicinity for which 50 km long 8 inch diameter feeder line has been laid and the gas is injected into Sui Southern Gas Company Limited’s network after processing.

The average daily production from the field between July 2022 and March 2023 was ~0.2 MMscfd gas. The well is currently shut-in after depletion.
