The Assets Operations Directorate is responsible for managing Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s producing and partner operated assets to optimize production from both its mature and new fields through maximizing production and operations efficiencies in line with the corporate strategies

Currently, the directorate manages four assets, Sui & Kandhkot, Adhi/ Dhok Sultan/ Partner-operated, Hala/ Mazarani/ Gambat South and Bolan Mining Enterprise (BME)/ Bayrite-Lead-Zinc (BLZ) (BME/ BLZ Project), with altogether 40 fields ─ 15 PPL-operated and 25 partner-operated - with a total production of about 1 Bcfepd.

Assets Operations works in collaboration with Technical Services directorate to enhance reserve recovery and production as well as arrest decline in production from its mature assets through development drilling, work overs and other well-based interventions, including hydraulic fracturing. Similarly, for new fields & production facilities, modification and upgrades Asset Operations is providing full support to Technical Services.

Asset Operations is also focusing on operating and capital cost optimization to improve economical life of mature and marginal fields.
