Sajid Mehmood Qazi


Sajid Mehmood Qazi joined Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s Board of Directors on April 10, 2018. He is a member of the board’s Audit and Procurement committees.

Qazi is currently serving as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Energy, Petroleum Division.

Agha Jan Akhtar


Agha Jan Akhtar was elected as a member of Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s Board on September 16, 2017. He is the Chairman of the Board Enterprise Risk Committe and also member of the Board Nomination and Procurement Committees.

Akhtar is an officer of the Pakistan Administrative Services and currently serving as Chairman Port Qasim Authority.

Sabino Sikandar Jalal


Sabino Sikandar Jalal was elected as a member of Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s Board on September 16, 2017. He is also member of the Board Audit, Nomination and Procurement Committees.

Hassan Nasir Jamy


Hassan Nasir Jamy was elected as a member of Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s Board on September 16, 2017. He is also  member of the Board Strategy, Finance and Audit Committees.

Technical Services

Technical Services Directorate provides significant, value-added support for bringing a drillable prospect turning into a discovery, to commercial production through a series of well-planned, integrated and cost effective operations carried out by various functions, including Drilling and Well Engineering, Production Technology, Reservoir Modelling Group and Quality, Health, Safety and Environment. These functions are staffed with qualified and well experienced professionals to meet the directorate’s objectives.  

Partner-operated Assets

Partner-Operated Asset (PO) team consists of professionals with diverse expertise in exploration, reservoir engineering and production, management of projects, plants and facilities as well as finance.

The Asset is tasked to safe guard Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s interest in joint ventures and is responsible for managing exploration licenses, monitoring of 2D and 3D seismic surveys as well as its processing and interpretation.


The Sui Asset (SA) is responsible for the overall operations of Sui Gas field, including implementation of technical studies, Geological and Geophysical surveys, drilling, workovers, well interventions, reservoir surveillance, surface facilities and plant projects as per the approved work programme.

Asset Operations

The Assets Operations Directorate is responsible for managing Pakistan Petroleum Limited’s producing and partner operated assets to optimize production from both its mature and new fields through maximizing production and operations efficiencies in line with the corporate strategies.
