In another landmark distinction affirming its niche as a leading Exploration and Production (E&P) company, Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) bagged the prestigious Management Association of Pakistan’s (MAP) 26^th Corporate Excellence Award in the Fuel and Energy sector. This is the second time that PPL has won the MAP award.

PPL MD and CEO Khalid Rahman received the trophy from Chief Guest and Governor State Bank of Pakistan Salim Raza in an impressive ceremony held on May 14 at the Karachi Sheraton Hotel and Towers, attended by a large number of business leaders and media representatives. Other members of the PPL senior management team accompanied Khalid Rahman.

Now in its 26^th year, the Corporate Excellence Award was instituted by MAP in 1982 to recognize and honour companies showing outstanding performance and transparent financial and corporate governance practices following a rigourous evaluation process.
