Shahdad X-1 is the second discovery in Gambat South Block.
The discovery well Shahdad X-1 was drilled in 2013 to test the hydrocarbon potential of Massive Sand of Lower Goru Formation. During testing, the well flowed up to 27 MMscfd gas and 255 bpd condensate.
Shahdadpur West Gas Field started commercial production on September 9, 2015.
The average daily production from the field between July 2022 and March 2023 was around 9 MMscfd gas and 95 bpd condensate.
