Karachi: March 16, 2017: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) donated Rs. 3.6 million to Quaid-e-Azam Rangers Special Children School (QRSCS), Karachi for monthly fee of 10 deserving students over a period of 10 years until they complete their matriculation. MD & CEO PPL Syed Wamiq Bokhari handed over donation cheque to Principal, QRSCS Zahida Jalees in the presence of officials from both organizations at a simple event organized at the school.

Karachi, March 11, 2017: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Balochistan Football Cup 2017 ─ the country’s largest-ever sponsored football tournament ─ kicked off on March 10 with round matches in six provincial divisions of Quetta, Kalat, Makran, Sibi, Zhob and Naseerabad.

Karachi, March 9, 2017: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Balochistan Football Cup 2017 ─ the country’s largest-ever sponsored football tournament ─ commences March 10 with round matches in six provincial divisions of Quetta, Kalat, Makran, Sibi, Zhob and Naseerabad until March 18 followed by the final round, starting March 20. The semi-finals will be played on March 31 and final on April 2 at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium (Malibagh), Quetta. Altogether 74 matches will be played between 37 teams during the tournament. 

Quetta, March 2, 2017: MD and CEO Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) Syed Wamiq Bokhari, Chairman Organizing Committee PPL Balochistan Football Cup 2017, Sardar Naveed Haider Khan and President, Balochistan Football Association Rauf Notezai unveiled the trophy during a well-attended ceremony at Serena Hotel, Quetta on March 2.

Karachi, February 28, 2017: The 65th Annual General Meeting of Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) was held on February 28 at Marriot hotel, Karachi. The members approved the financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2016 together with the auditor’s report thereon as well as a final cash dividend of 35 percent on ordinary shares and 7.5 percent on convertible preference shares.

Karachi, February 24, 2017: Pakistan Petroleum Limited Balochistan Football Cup 2017 is set to kick-off from March 10. The district-level matches are scheduled to be held across six provincial divisions: Quetta, Kalat, Makran, Sibi, Zhob and Naseerabad. Altogether, 34 teams will play the round matches between March 10 and 18 followed by the final round starting from March 20. The semi-finals will be played on March 31 and final on April 2 at Sadiq Shaheed Football Stadium (Malibagh), Quetta.

ISLAMABAD, February 7, 2017: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) was declared the second largest corporate giver by volume of donations for 2015 at the Corporate Philanthropy Awards hosted by Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy in Islamabad on February 7. The company received the award for the 12th consecutive year in the same category.

Karachi: January 5, 2017:Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) donated Rs. 10.05 million to Mayo Hospital (MH), Lahore for purchasing six anaesthesia machines for its emergency surgical ward. MD & CEO PPL Syed Wamiq Bokhari handed over the donation cheque to Head of Resource Mobilization, MH Moienuddin Chishty in the presence of officials from both organizations at a simple event organized at PPL’s head office, Karachi.

Sanghar, December 23, 2016: Federal Minister for Petroleum and Natural Resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi formally inaugurated the recently commissioned 50 MMscfd Gas Processing Facility II (GPF-II) at Gambat South Block during a well-attended event hosted by Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL). The occasion drew a diverse gathering comprising provincial and local government officials, area notables and media representatives.

Karachi: December 13, 2016: Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) donated Rs. 12.4 million and Rs. 9.3 million to Indus Hospital as well as Koohi Goth Hospital, respectively, as part of its ongoing CSR efforts to provide free-of-cost, quality healthcare to the underprivileged. MD and CEO Syed Wamiq   Bokhari presented donation cheques to CEO Indus Hospital Dr. Abdul Bari Khan and President Koohi Goth Hospital Dr. Syed Tipu Sultan on December 13 in the presence of representatives from both organizations and company staff at a simple event organized at PPL’s head office, Karachi.
