The department is in continuous process of standardizing and regularizing inspection and calibration across the PPL operated fields. In this regard, required inspection work / tasks have commenced as per relevant of international standard and best engineering practices are being placed. This includes Third Party Inspection of Pressure Vessels, Above Ground Storage Tanks, Calibration of Master Equipments, Testing and Inspection of Lifting Equipments, Monitoring of Cathodic Protection (CP) system and “Base Line Survey” of all operating fields / Plants has also been planned and are being arranged for effective AIM. Identification of resources having perquisite qualification, latest equipment, understanding of work importance, attitude to improve quality and integrity was considered key supplement to achieve objectives with desired level. |
